Who coaches this
McMichael
Over twenty five years in fitness training and sports conditioning. Joel founded The Fit Influence to transform lives through personalised training, combining exercise science with sustainable habits. He takes the clients coming back from surgery and the ones who have never set foot in a gym, and he has the longest client relationships in the building.

McMichael
Certified personal trainer, nutritionist and exercise therapist, coaching since 2019. Strength training, fat loss and body recomposition, with the discipline of a competing Men’s Physique athlete in every programme he writes. Training and nutrition come from the same person, so the work in the gym is not undone in the kitchen.

McMichael
Certified group fitness instructor and online trainer, with The Fit Influence since 2019. Runs the small group sessions and the remote programmes, building strength, confidence and consistency. Her thing is inclusive sessions that meet people exactly where they are and still push them.

Kickboxing instructor, and it started with her own training. Chasity became an instructor after seeing what kickboxing did for her own physical and mental health, and she is vocal about what the sport does for mood and stress. Small classes built for proper form, endurance and confidence, without the intimidation that stops people ever trying it.
People who did it
“Despite the significant challenges, my weight, failing knees, and a chronic illness, Joel agreed to work with me. Twelve years later, I am still training with him, because I trust him with my life.”
“I had back surgery in 2022 and instead of going to PT, Joel slowly got me back in the gym two months post surgery. I competed in my first Hyrox this past October.”
“He pushed me beyond what I thought my limits were. He knows it is not one shoe fits all. No matter where you are in life, Joel can help you reach your goals.”
Before you start
I have an injury or I have had surgery. Can I still train?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Joel has coached for twenty five years and has clients who came back after back surgery and after a liver transplant. Tell us in your first session and the program is built around it.
Also run at Charlotte.
